W.C. Mo. | Lot of difference between southern Oklahoma and northern Nebraska. 90 degree sunny days can dry mature corn a pt/day in Aug/Sept.. Here if not worried about storms or wanting to graze a follow-up cover crop, I let nature get the corn down under 16%. If harvesting any volume, the standing corn in 4 days will be much dryer than bin corn burning electricity for 4 days. And be much cleaner --few bees wings.
To OP. the Purdue charts are valuable--most Land Grant universities extensions will have similar charts. | |
