Sure, sure. Sure they are......

I have 8 or better ph in spots, high Mag soil, and wet clay or muck ground that is wetter than normal. Hey, at least I don’t have salt problems.

My heavy soil is difficult to influence with additives it takes too much, costs more than it returns.

Tile help drainage greatly, but the high ph flushes out of the soil with the lateral water movement faster than it can flush the ph away, so that doesn’t have a big effect either.

In lighter ground some of the mentioned things could work, not putting those ideas down, just have to know what you are starting with. Here the answer is ‘plant corn.’
