| Have always liked to drill April beans early, so yes, 30 years ago I often got cupped beans from banvel being applied in corn.
Decided to go all enlist this year, striving to be a responsible neighbor and have the opinion June spraying of dicamba to often being un-defensible. It's flawed technology, an even applied to the T, no one knows what the weather conditions a couple days down the road is going to be.
So this year have some cupping in every field, like I usually have had with LL beans in previous years.
I'm not going to point fingers at neighbors or file a complaint, right or wrong. Too many possible sources, and hoping more restrictions are put into place before next year, but my confidence Illinois will apply more responsible rules isn't high.
It does appear Enlist handles dicamba better than straight LL beans, but that shouldn't be the point. Anyway, continue ................... | |
