| I have this conversation with my kids who have started investing recently. We think its overvalued, (valued as much as toyota seems overvalued) especially with it still being mostly a car for the wealthy. The model 3 is getting closer, but resale value/annual cost for repairs is still a wildcard 5 years out. And, the fact that toyota sells all types of vehicle in all countries of the world. Perhaps there is something behind the curtain we dont know about, but a select few may. A government contract or something.
