I start accruing pto time for my employees after 6 months. They accrue so much for each hour worked. It comes out to 2 weeks worth per a normal years hours. After 1 year they can start to take their accrued pto time (1 week). They can not accrue more than 1.5 yrs worth of pto or I pay it out. Our employee handbook lays it out clearly.
