We have a Lexion 740, 2011 model. It makes a very nice windrow. It also helps using a 40' header. The twin rotors on a lexion are for separation only, so they really don't break up the straw. Regardless, you want an external straw chopper for straw quality. Lexions are good at cereals also.

Included in the pictures is a chaff diverter I made for sending chaff on top of the straw windrow.
