Everyone can poo poo me all you want these grain prices stink. My parents kept a journal in 1979 we sold some wheat for $4.00 / bushel. Pretty much the same price as today. Except inputs have went up at least 5 fold.
I’m still trying to figure out how anyone that wasn’t new to farming went broke in the 80’s given the kind of cash they should have been able to pile up in the 70’s.
I’m still hoping to make money this year, but at the rate things have been breaking down lately I have to wonder...
