I still don’t understand how they think a vaccine can work if being exposed to the disease itself didn’t create lasting immunity.
A vaccine is just a relatively benign form of the virus that causes the immune system to create antibodies without danger of the disease itself. Then, when exposed to the real disease, the antibodies are already present to fight it off.
In my opinion, the results of this study are proof that a vaccine will not work either.
