Subject: RE: Shop A/C

NW KS
I had a window cooler for a while and I doubt I would get another window cooler. They are made as a disposable appliance and I was always having trouble with it. One I brought was used but everything inside of them is made as cheaply as possible. Primary I had trouble with the fans blade and motors. Ac compressor was about the only part the actually worked. It also took up a window in the shop and was heavy to move in and out. That wouldn't be a problem if installed in a wall but keep in mind they do tend to leak a lot of air through them.

Ac did work good for me through. Typically I would move anything around in the morning and get the door closed before the heat of the day. I typically would start the ac after lunch depending on how hot and humid it was outside. My plan is now is to find a condenser and air handler.
