I often foliarly feed on our highest value crops where flavor is important.Never ever have done this as a single app.Always when there are other chems needed,cost of app disappears except material costs.Fruit is different than your beans but if you need a chem app,,,chuck some in.I have avoided most highly promoted ones that start with an St......But conversely I use a seaweed extract from local co.for our most costly crop and I assume it works to induce a sugar increase,,,,just maybe in my mind ,,,hehe.Calcium nitrate really greens up the foliage unless you screw up and it turns blossoms brown...
