Quinclorac (Facet L, Quinstar GT) seems to be very effective, here. Throw in some LV6 and MSO to heat it up. It's not a cheap mix, tho. Not sure where you're from or what crops you want to rotate to, but Quinclorac is friendly to wheat and milo. In fact it can be sprayed in crop with milo. I don't know if one application will completely clean the bindweed up or not, if it's a heavy infestation but it will really help.
Tordon is another option. IIRC the rotation interval to other crops is fairly long.
A cheaper option would be a heavy dose of glyphosate and lv6, although IMO its less effective.
