SE MN | Well, when some choose to take the temp readings out of context and spin the info to suit an agenda opposing the man and the noble purpose of those who the man serves and represents then maybe the man has a good point by suggesting that more thermometers are not necessarily serving the ultimate goal of education, knowledge and proper response. It is sad that some people are misusing the new and valuable data to serve a poor agenda.
However, in all seriousness, the man's line was a light hearted jovial quip that was funny to those without the opposing agenda while containing a certain kernel of truth, but the man never actually meant that the number of thermometers should be reduced. Those who support the man understood this and also understood that there maybe was a little trolling going on by the man because they know how easily the opposition is at being baited into pathetic little rants and raves about nothing. The OP here is a case in point. Why oh why can't some people lighten up and not insert their politics into everything they think, say and write? But I digress...
However, I can understand such things coming from some out there with TDS and how they may not be able to resist the awful desire to break rules by touting political BS in the Cafe when it belongs in the TPP. | |
