. | Frankly up here I think they'd have one heck of time getting help either. Milkman hired nicest guy you could meet as a substitute hauler. He was a black guy and he finally had to let him go because of the threats of too many of the farmers getting another milk hauler if he kept driving.
Sad to say, but while we don't have any black farmers up here, they would likely face a pretty tough challenge with a lot of uneducated discriminatory white farmers making their lives miserable. I'm not proud to say that, and most farmers would never admit it but there is a bias against them. | |
