Callao Missouri | May I encourage you to start looking for new churches to worship in. I was raised in the old Methodist church where my father went, his parents went etc. Like your son I was tired of being the youngest in attendance next to my father. Every Sunday was like a giant cheek pinching ceremony for all the old invalids that hadn't had contact with anyone younger than 75 for the last 6 days. Meanwhile the church across the street was growing, lots of people I new was there. I finally jumped ship and went to the independent Christian Church across the road. Big difference. I am happy, learning the word, and the church keeps on growing. Im here to tell you if your church doesn't have babies crying during the service your church is dead it just doesn't know it yet. | |
