I am going to go out on a limb here and agree that it is most likely planter drift. Another thing is what type of correction are you using. Ground based "true" RTK you need to be within 6 miles of the base to get sub inch corrections. Even with RTK, sub inch means your commanded line is within 1 inch. That means if you are one inch left one way and one inch right the next pass your guess row could be 2 inches narrow. Not that it happens very often but it can. Only time I have seen a tractor drive with less than .5 inch error over the entire pass is in veggies going less than 2 MPH in very smooth tilled ground. Most tractors have trouble staying within 1 inch at speeds over 5-6 MPH. It can be done but takes a bit of skill from the person tuning the steering. Other corrections may have higher error rates, up to 1.5 inches.

Around here if they are using strip till and want to be perfect they use implement steering, either passive or with coulters.
