I don’t remember ever seeing as many private displays around the countryside as I did last night. Most local public fireworks were cancelled. Illinois is one of 4 states in the country where fireworks are illegal, imagine that.
We sat on the front porch and for well over and hour the entire sky was lit up with fireworks everywhere! I’ve never seen that before and probably never will again. Nothing hurt but some city folks were all po’ed. Was a good show! |
