I run Hypro 3D nozzles. The red 04 ones running 15mph in beans at 80psi and 15gpa. Really blast down into the canopy and looks like a blanket of spray. Corn I run 13 to 14 mph and usually around 70psi.
Used to have this same way of thinking. Really "blast" it down there when all we were doing is creating way too many fines and not actually getting canopy penetration. Did a lot of playing around with water sensitive paper throughout the canopy that made us change our ways. To each his own. |
