Southern MN
Always amazing how much it varies from area to area. In our area of the world we lose way more yield to water damage than drought, except it seems our August is much more dry than it use to be. Someone posted a map a while ago showing average rainfall for each area for the last 30? Years and our county where city and JDman farm Has trended way up for rainfall through June and then our average has went down from what it used to be July and Aug. Still doesnt really hurt us much but it seems late July August is the only time we ever hope for a rain.
During the drought period Gulke would always comment on his weekend radio show the only crops that didn’t look hurt by the drought on his drive to his ND land was the I90 corridor in southcentral and southwestern MN.
