NW IL | For our crops these last few years, food grade organic soybeans. Still working on getting weed control figured out, but when we do it's great. 23$/bu acre contract.
In the future I expect it will be elderberries for us on a per acre basis.
For total revenue right now it's the dairy cows.
In the future it may be a small scale dairy processor... but that's dreaming out a ways at the moment.
There are some small scale lettuce folks (ex. Curtis Stone) that claim to do close to 7 figures on less than an acre with just lettuce. Direct marketing.
