that rain that went South of here last week
sure would have been nice to have had in the field instead of washing the streets in the geto
U could have had our rain last weekend , 3" fast with high winds , didn't hurt corn but in low spots on the heavier ground were it layed for a couple of days it hurt/killed a lot of soys which were a decent size....Guy close by was picking up bean seed yesterday to replant a farm that was planted in mid May....IDK ,i don't like the bare holes but July , predicted 90+ for next 2 weeks & dry & wheat is ready in a couple days...........like most yrs. the real nice ground has real nice crops and that tough ,slow to drain,turns to cement clays range from poor to terrible---thankful for crop ins. |
