No springs here. All surface runoff and our main 3 acre pond is about 10" low right now from lack of rain. We do have aeration in the main pond as well as a fish feeder. That largemouth bass was pretty skinny. It came out of our old one acre pond and we need to harvest some fish out of it to let the remaining ones grow. Not enough forage fish in that pond to feed the predators. If a person wants to learn about pond and fish management, Pond Boss forum is the place to be. John |
