Sounds like you have a plan. The pictures show some swelling. The better breeding bulls I have been around don’t mount just for the heck of it but when they do they they make sure their effort wasn’t wasted. We don’t run many yearlings anymore but when we did I usually gave them a few days extra to get it figured out.
