nw NC | I'm needing to repair the two hydro-static drive motors in Bobcat 753 skid steer. Bobcat price for ONE kit which consists of a few rubber o-rings and four hard plastic rings is over $200. I found kits online for the same application at two different sources for parts for skid steers. Both those places have about same price as Bobcat. Anyone have a suggestion as to alternative repair or parts source? I'm thinking I'll get into the motors, removing o-rings, measure them and order them online from a source for o-rings at cost of only a few dollars for enough o-rings to do the job. I'll see if I can get by with just replacing the rubber o-rings and reusing the hard plastic "back-up" rings.
