E.Central MN | I'm not sure they'll have the money to do that. It was reported yesterday that 200 police officers are going to file for disability using the claim of PTSD. Very difficult to defend against that claim, workers can't be terminated and can collect until they retire. So that will mean 200 less officers on the street. On the plus side, maybe that (officers unfit for duty) is a major cause of the problems. I hope the city immediately takes steps to prevent those officers from having access to firearms for their safety as well as the public. | |
