I’m guessing in your grain contract example there are certain things, such as quality or standards, that would void the contract. If there’s no out in your 4 year contract, I’d say you’re on the hook for 4 years and you should honor the contract. Expensive lesson, and I’ve paid for a few...which is why I passed on the Farmer’s Edge sales pitch.
