I have an offer for a touch over $1600 for fresh 1st lactation holsteins. We are currently whole herd averaging 93-95 lbs, roughly 4% fat, 3% pro, 100 scc. I have enough, usually end up culling cows that are still milking 80-90 lbs. Is this a good current price? With milk prices decent now, I dont know what cow prices have done.
