The Panhandle has very little in common with Texas.
Sat next to some Suits from Houston on plane from Dallas to Amarillo in late Oct. or early Nov., and asked them if they brought their coats, because it was gonna snow. They thought i'd lost my marbles, had to explain to them that stuff happens at near 4,000 feet.
Sure as could be, was a white out blizzard over most of the panhandle. |
