The Internet

I was under the impression that it was all but eliminated in the UK until not so long ago and has become more common since we had a wave of migration from countries who don't vaccinate.

It's a notifiable disease in cattle and we(as a country) have had a lot of problems with it in the wild badger population which has become hugely political, so it's very hard forme to make any sensible judgement on it.

This is what it says on the NHS website. I know Americans hate the very thought of the NHS and while it does have it's issues, it actually works quite wel for the most part and I do trust it's judgement https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/bcg-tuberculosis-tb-vacci...

At one time of day my mum was the nurse you took kids to when they needed their vaccines. Consequently, me and my siblings got every jab going and probably a few extra for good measure. I have a memory as a very small boy of me running away from her while she was wielding a needle and her cornering me by the fridge
