Northwest Iowa | Ed had noted many vaccines that have turned out well. Influenza and common(not much commonality) colds have been elusive at best. CV falls into these categories. There was a swine flu in the 70s that supposedly had a vaccine for but left a large number of those treated with long term disorders, including partial paralysis. I had the measles vaccine when I was young but still had the "soft" 3 day version. Be careful touting death numbers due to CV. If one looks closely and uses a calculator, CV isn't much of a death threat. I know, it's different when you have a loved one affected. | |
