Iowa | I use the mesh tape and mud it 2x, then I swirl texture the whole wall - done 2 rooms like that, very little sanding, just put a sponge or washcloth in the mud and swirl it on the wall like you’re waxing a car. Saves sanding most of it, looks unique but nice. I have asthma, so sanding sucks - always seem to have a short time where I take mask off and it gets me. Fist pic is of wall, there’s probably 3 joints in that picture, second is ceiling. Wife was happy with it- or so she says. Took an hour and 5 gal of mud to do that room (7x16 porch)
