The US is a very arrogant and materialistic country that thrives on want vs. need, we don't know any better, we've never wanted for anything like most other countries have. It's one of the virtues of capitalism. We're spoiled and won't tolerate anyone preventing us from seeking pleasure.
+1 -same for Canada , quite a few people have told me they actually enjoy spending more time at home with families and found out you can eat at home and live a lot cheaper than we ever thought and really have no need to go to the mall,ect. to buy junk we don't need.......One thing I am blessed with is us living on farms in the country still can enjoy a lot of life,,,maybe not so much in a high rise apartment |
