If you want to not eat so much carbaryl there are several modern formulations that are as effective and not so toxic. Its an old chemistry,If you have been damp there are several fungicides formulations for your crops,Bravo is one thats labeled for your crops listed, again a bit older chemistry, some new ones are safer Seranade is very much safe.n the insect side its a bit of treat when you see, carbaryl used at seedling stage is fine,it wont kill potato beetles,on your beans ? leafhoppers? will take them out but do you want it on your green beans?I would say a neonic would help but to avoid it possible a newer pyrethroid if you can acquire it.The tomatoes should be treated weekly to prevent blights(I could go on rambling for days ,we grow veggies fruit a bit crazy hehe)
