Use up ALL spray in the tank. Put 100 gal water in it, use hose and nozzle to rinse inside of tank. Spray it all out.
Add 100 gal water to tank plus 1 gal ammonia. Use hose and nozzle attached to agitator line to rinse inside of tank, do a thorough job. Discharge enough through the boom to get ammonia solution through the whole boom. FWIW one time I did that with end of boom over soybeans, machine stationary, no detrimental effect on beans. Usually let sit overnight, spray out ammonia solution, clean the screens. Move on to spray next crop.
No reason to change, always works here. | |
