ely I have had wheat roots plug some tile once but nothing else (except for a cottonwood root). I have seen a few problems with tile put in by hand or backhoe etc. If you get a dip in your tile and it doesn't drain well (puddle of water in tile), you definitely could have an issue. If it was put in by a competent contractor, you won't have any issues.
