ND | If there is a title in the state system, you're screwed, at least here, as that means you could possibly have the title and you would have to get it for the new owner as technically it is still your truck until you sign over the title. No title in the system? Bill of sale is all what's needed, and perhaps a warning of an incoming headache as they try to trace who owned it before who ever you sold it to.
For the vin number thing, for us anything that doesn't have the full 13 number or whatever has a bunch of 0s before the serial number or has the model, 0s, then the serial number.
You can probably look up the year by the serial number. I know its possible with IHC so ford should be easier. | |
