Pierce county WI | First sale of new crop 2020 corn. I told myself I had a target of a minimum $3.40 June cash local, I got $3.41. I also sold a little Oct hta at $3.58. I won't have enough storage unless we have a real short crop. That $3.58 was a $3.19 cash. I think we go higher, but I need some "confidence" sales. (I.E. my I didn't miss the boat sales). If the weather model changes over the long weekend, could go down. Also, maybe profit taking tomorrow. Cookie doesn't believe the stocks report. Stocks are only up 1% over a year ago, and 3% increase in on farm stocks vs commercial? Come on, there's zero reason that feed demand is lower with livestock numbers. So, if the weather takes this crop down a little more, cookies going to take some big cookies!
