I'll use some round numbers for an example to detail the situation I'm trying to decipher.
I filled a bin with all my 2019 corn. I estimated it at 100k bu (no adjuster measured it, my estimate). That's what I turned into crop insurance.
I emptied the bin and there was only 96k bu. But I failed to contact my insurance man to update the bushels and now it's too late to do so.
Do I use 96 or 100k on my CFAP total 2019 production number? Isn't there a tolerance on stored bushels (maybe 5%) that you can be off and you don't need to correct with your crop insurance?
Thanks,
Art
let your conscience be your guide, your records show 96k and that was what you physically had. |
