. | The lawyers follow the money trail. I was on a jury trial once where the lady drifted off the lane of traffic, hit a pothole on the side and flipped the car over. Sadly she ended up with severe brain damage and in a nursing home. But she was the one who drove off the road, The jury was made up of people with common sense, and while we all agreed it was a tragedy, it wasn't the county's fault. Judge promptly threw out the jury verdict! | |
