A neighbor was demoing his old farm building site and had a couple of these 36" fans in one barn and told me to take them or they were going in the scrap. I want to put them in this building but not sure where to position them for best air flow. Im thinking just inside the front with them pointing slightly down and towards the back wall with one over each pen. I will need to be careful when bedding that I dont hit them with the skid loader when bedding in this spot. The other option is just inside the back wall and pointed towards the front. They will be more out of the way there, but I wonder if I won't be fighting the natural air movement as they will be pointed south in this position. Any thoughts?

With two fans - - - dunno an 'easy' way but maybe having a cross flow set up.
With a cross flow even with a wind you still getting the fans to enhance air flow.

Also thinking of some kind of mount where you could say flip a mechanical lever and the fan would then move up out of the road.
Maybe something where the low setting would give you an easy way to work on the fan.
The mid setting would be you 'normal' operating point.
The high setting would the barn clearing setting.
