| This was suggested at a PTO meeting...about 20+ years ago. They suggested that teachers would vie for the honor of getting to kiss the pig. Back then one of the PTO officers still raised pigs, so availability of a pig wasn't a problem. We (the only 2 officers with farm experience) vetoed the idea. We said we weren't willing to kiss the pig, so we couldn't expect the teacher to do so. I think we went with the pie in the face contest. | |
