What above poster said. Move your t handle back up to the holes they were in before you adjusted them. I can see the dirt accumulation showing where they were. Then increase down pressure to get to the depth that you want. I've had the exact same drill for 10 years. I hardly ever move the t handle. Just change down pressure to get depth I want. If it is dry on top inch, you shouldn't have problems with press wheels building up then.
