Pierce county WI | So, in the spring of 2010 we had cheap corn coming off a monster crop harvest of a late, wet harvest in fall of 2009. 2009 was a record. That summer started getting warmer. We had a hundred year flood locally. Things stayed hot and got dry that summer. The test weight of the 2009 crop showed up in lower stocks. Big ol harvest rally that fall.
Ten years later, were coming off a late, wet harvest, only this time it was below trend, but, still a large crop that was bigger than 2009. This week, we just had a hundred year flood locally. The forecast is getting warm............. | |
