Shower heads are generally pretty easy to dig into and remove the little plastic restrictor disk. At least it was simple on the last 3-4 I've dealt with.
Granted, if your water heater is on the smaller side, it burns through that capacity faster. (My solution to that is to shower at the barn more often than at home. As long as the misters aren't running, I've got 3 times more flow available to begin with.)
