| Definitely a warranty job for the dealer. The cutter bar needs to come apart at the break. You will find wear to the splined shaft and to one of the module pinion shafts. You probably will also find that the dowel pin holes in one of the modules is also damaged and possibly the dowel pin loose in the spacer. Replace the spacer, module, splined shaft and end cap if the break is between the first and second module. If the splines are worn on the the module away from the split it will take a second pinion shaft. | |
