Subject: Chemical MixTurning to Cottage Cheese

mascoutah, IL
In 25 years of spraying I can honestly say other than a plugged tip I’ve had very little trouble with spray mixes till yesterday. Had to flush the boom each time I reloaded. I do run home and takes about half hour to an hour to do it depending on where I’m at. In that short time what was in the boom turned to cottage cheese. Had to clean 54 tips twice before I started flushing it. Curious what caused my problems. Also I’m assuming the Outlook I sprayed will be gone with 3-5 inches. 1.6 so far with quite a bit more coming It’s either feast or famine here. Here is my mix in the order I mixed it. Want to make sure I never do this again.

2# AMS
16 oz Fomesafen (Willowood)
12 oz Outlook
6 oz Chlethodim
32 oz Powermax
32 oz/100 of NIS
18 GPA water
