Subject: RE: Controlling outback steering valve with Trimble display

NW KS
It would be fairly easy to make and adapter to go from the navII harness to that valve with. Looks like all the connector would be deutsch connectors. Many trimble setups use the pressure sensor on the load sense line but some also use a flow sensor. Installation manual or the navII profile will tell what sensor is used. I haven't had a problem with the pressure sense on the load sense line but the valve I am using was designed to have the override installed this way. I'm not sure if the wiring for the nav has a connection for the enable solenoid but it could be put on its own switch.

What else can you tell me about the override on the outback system? I assume the magnets are tripping either a hall effect or reed switch. I have another piece of equipment that I would like to do an install on that uses a rather expensive flow switch and would like to figure out an alternative.
