Do you have a picture of the valve? Outback supplies a variety of different hydraulic valves. Big thing here is if its a proportional valve, I would be more keen on even attempting it. If its the "bang bang" style valve where it just opens an closes. I have never heard of trimble being used on a "bang bang" style open close valve, wouldnt know how it would know how to control it even with their Nav controllers. Thought it was a unique steering valve supplied by Outback. If you post a picture of valve ,myself or I am sure someone on here will be able to tell you the difference.
