Subject: RE: Weed identification?

Kingston,Mi
If it is mint, it cold be a cash crop after a tremendous investment in steam wagons, steam generator haying equipment etc. We have always had mint growing close to the house and as kids, we made mint tea from our mint (do not know which mint it is). Attached are photos of another 4 side stem plant Motherwort (Leonurus Cardiaca) which has purple flowers in the axils of the leaves and toothed a 3 lobed lower leaves and of a mint growing in the same clump with the flowers not yet expressed, its leaves are oval and finely serrated like the description of field mint.

Edit first 2 are Motherwort and the last photo is a mint. Your photo appears to be Motherwort now that I have read up on the plants and used the identification key in the circular starting with flowers that are pink or purple
