Have had a Green Mountain grill for over 2 years now and have always been looking for that "magic" rub or sauce. I've come to realize that individual tastes vary so much, and there are so many choices, the only option is to try a lot of different rubs and sauces and try to narrow it down. For me on pork, I tend to like rubs that are heavy on brown sugar. For beef I like simple rubs with mostly salt and pepper. As always, "practice makes perfect!"
