nw NC | Those were the only pictures that I made for the reply to the forum discussion. It had been several years since I made posts. The other side channel of the form was not in the same location as the partial form that I pictured , so I just made the picture without it. The finished posts are 6 inches X 6 inches square and made to whatever length that I needed for any given purpose. Normal mix for footing or slab concrete is
Portland cement.................. 1 shovel
sand.........................................2 shovels
washed crushed stone........3 shovels
The concrete for the posts had more Portland cement..... about 1-1/2 shovels, 2 sand, 3 crushed stone . | |
